Adherents of theosophy, the esoteric philosophy popular at the turn
of the 20th century, believed that science and religion could be
reconciled, and that the plan of the universe could and should be
understood, and that it was humanity's duty to adapt to that plan.
Here, in a series of lectures delivered in Sydney, Australia, in
1915, the renowned spiritualist Charles W. Leadbeater, a leader of
theosophical thought, celebrates the new "sub-race" of humanity
come to joyful life in the immigrant nations of America, Australia,
and New Zealand, where, freed from the social shackles of Old World
Europe, races and classes were intermingling to create a new kind
of culture, which would in turn reshape the world. Far-reaching and
perceptive, this is an extraordinary little volume of social
insight and criticism.British author CHARLES WEBSTER LEADBEATER
(1854-1934) was ordained as an Anglican priest, but later joined
the prominent Theosophical Society and traveled to India to study
alternative spiritual and occult practices, eventually settling
into his life as a clairvoyant and author. His other works include
Man Visible and Invisible and The Science of the Sacrament.

Elephas Levi (the pen name of Abb Louis Constant, 1810-1875) was
one of the leading occultists of the 19th century. For most of his
life he was a Roman Catholic priest; even after he was defrocked in
1844, his views continued to have a strong Catholic influence. His
books, translated into English after his death, were essential to
the development of other occultists such as Albert Pike, Helena
Blavatsky, A.E. Waite, and Aleister Crowley.
"Paradoxes of the Highest Science" was the first of Levi's books
to be translated into English. (The original French version was
published in 1856.) This edition reprints the 1883 text issued by
the Theosophical Society (translated by Anonymous) and includes the
1922 commentary by "an Eminent Occultist" (perhaps Helena P.
Blavatsky).
In addition to "Paradoxes of the Highest Science," this edition
includes two more essays by Levi, "Synthetic Recapitulation" and
"The Great Secret."

According to esoteric teachings we have an energy body of lighter,
less dense material that is connected to our physical bodies. Those
who can see it call it the aura and can sometimes tell the state of
a person's health by the way it appears. Those who use its energy
refer to the force as prana, chi, vital force, orgone or a number
of other names. There are seven chakras, or energy points, where
this energy collects in the etheric body. Working with the chakras
and these spiritual energies can play a big part in the psychic
development and enlightenment of those sensitive enough to work on
these levels. This book shows you how. Subjects include a chapter
on each chakra center; also Prana or Vitality, Force-Centres,
Kundalini, Healing, Mediumship, Birth, Death, Mesmerism,
Magnetisation of Objects, Ectoplasm, and more.
With the predictions of the Sanctus Germanus Prophecies Volume 1
coming to pass, the present Volume 2 concentrates on the
lightbearer's role during the post-2012 Earth changes and
reconstruction effort. Lightbearers are today's Bodhisattvas,
thousands of advanced initiates and past luminaries of earth, who
have reincarnated to help mankind through this period of great
change and turmoil. The Sanctus Germanus Prophecies, Volume 2 is a
practical guide for the lightbearer to situate his or her place in
the grand scheme of things and prepare for the coming challenges.
The Way to Christ was the first published book of German mystic
JACOB BOEHME (1575-1624), who received a revelatory vision in 1600
while watching a beam of sunlight reflect in a metal dish. A
spiritual guide for Christians, this book contains Boehme's method
for attaining enlightenment and unity with God. He offers prayers
for readers to repeat and guides them through the repentance that
is necessary in finding Christ. Lost souls and Christians out of
touch with their faith will find Boehme's conviction and passion
inspiring.
One of the fundamental theosophic beliefs is that there exists a
collection of true knowledge that is the foundation of all world
religions. In pursuit of this truth and the perfection of mankind,
humans are constantly reborn, evolving toward their highest state.
In this book, originally published in 1925, Charles Leadbeater
discusses the existence of Masters, or men who have reached the
highest state of human consciousness, and how they can be
identified. He further explains to the reader how they may make
their own way on the path toward perfection. Anyone interested in
religious studies will be interested in this classic example of
theosophical philosophy.English clergyman turned spiritualist
