Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple star in this fantasy thriller adapted from the novel by Joe Hill and directed by Alexandre Aja. 26-year-old Ignatius 'Ig' Perrish has been accused of the rape and murder of his girlfriend Merrin Williams (Temple). After a night of drinking he wakes up to discover horns sprouting from his temples. Though he can't understand why they have appeared, Ig soon realises that the horns have the ability to make people admit their darkest secrets and act on selfish desires. He decides to prove his innocence by using this new power to find Merrin's real killer and exact revenge. The cast also includes Heather Graham, Max Minghella, Joe Anderson and David Morse.

Despite all the conflicting gangs Crabbe manages to come out on top with the help of female reporter Mississippi (Frances Robinson) and Police Inspector Scotty Scott (Wade Boteler). Crabbe was ideal as Barry an unshakable and unconventional cop who didn t let protocol or due process mess up his investigations and who was in constant conflict with the windbag police commissioner (William Gould).
