Richard E. Grant is the voice of the Doctor in this six-part animated storyline produced to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the TV sci-fi series in 2003. Andrew Davies's adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens tale of hardship and struggle in 1820s London. The Dorrit family has spent years in a debtors' prison due to the financial mess in which father William (Tom Courtenay) managed to land himself as a youth. Youngest daughter Amy (Claire Foy), known as Little Dorrit, finds work with the wealthy Mrs Clenham (Judy Parfitt) but knows that her father will, in all probability, spend the remainder of his life in gaol. However, when Arthur Clenham (Matthew Macfadyen), recently returned from abroad, comes to suspect that his late father was in part responsible for the Dorrits' plight, he becomes determined to make amends. But as he continues to delve into the mysteries of the Dorrits' and his parents' shared past, he is unaware that his own mother's house has been placed in peril by the arrival of a sinister stranger.

The latest David Attenborough nature documentary series, shot in HD. This ambitious 2006 series, described as 'the definitive look at the diversity of our planet' was the first ever to be filmed entirely in high definition. Every episode but the first one looks at one of the Earth's natural habitats and examines its local features, together with the breadth of fauna found there. While filming it, the crew caught several firsts - places and animals never before caught on camera. The fact that it was co-funded by Discovery Channel, BBC and Japan's NHK, took 5 years to make and was shot in over 200 locations is apparent and the series is everything you'd expect from Sir David Attenborough and his team if they were unconstrained by budget or practicality.

Patrick Troughton stars as the Doctor in this 1967 TV serial set on the Moon. In 2070 the Doctor and his travelling companions Jamie (Frazer Hines), Polly (Anneke Wills) and Ben (Michael Craze) arrive on the Moon and set out to visit the Moonbase, a manned structure used to control the Earth's weather through a device known as the Gravitron. All is not well on the Moonbase, however, with many of its crew suffering from a mysterious virus. It isn't long before the base is quarantined, leaving the Doctor, Jamie, Polly and Ben to try to get to the bottom of events and to deal with the increasing threat posed by the Cybermen, who appear to have infiltrated the base. With two of the original episodes missing, animated reconstructions are used to complete the story.
