"In terms of the written canon of Scripture, the Book of Revelation is God's 'last word.' Common logic would seem to dictate that a God who is intelligent, reasonable and articulate would speak 'last words' that would be easily understood by the vast majority of His audience. Unfortunately, in the case of The Revelation, the reality is quite different. For most of the last two millennia of Church history, Christians have fussed and fought (metaphorically, if not physically) over the intent, intelligibility and interpretation of The Revelation. What was given as a source of encouragement, unity and hope has become a cause of discouragement, division and fear." In this book, the author presents a series of "portraits" of Jesus Christ, which are revealed in the successive apocalyptic visions contained in the Book of Revelation. These visions were not given to stir fear or confusion but to inspire hope and to give courage to a young Church - a Church that was struggling with the harsh realities of living according to the teachings of Christ in the midst of a decidedly non-Christian world. The author claims that Jesus is the focal point and central figure of this mysterious and final book of the Bible. In this manner, he seeks to make the message of Revelation relevant and reasonable to every reader.
This thought-provoking study of paranormal phenomena traces the impact of supernatural beliefs on popular culture and, conversely, examines the influence of new communication technologies on research being conducted in the field. Did you know that interest in UFO research increased during the 1960s as a result of the Kennedy assassination? Or that America experienced a Satanic Panic in the 1980s that culminated with the longest, most expensive court trial in American history? This book reviews the history, economy, and community of paranormal research in this country, and considers the deeper meaning behind the philosophies and theories surrounding the industry. Paranormal Nation: Why America Needs Ghosts, UFOs, and Bigfoot explores the events that have defined paranormal belief systems today. From the birth of religious doctrine, to European witch hunts, to the increasing popularity of the supernatural in American television programming, the author examines the past and present conditions that have fueled interest in the unexplained and considers what this trend means for modern-day America.
The subject of the afterlife and ghosts is often deemed suspicious and related more to pseudo-religion, occultism or something equally distant from science as well as disturbing and ominous. Some people consider anything that they cannot comprehend or accept to be impossible while others are convinced that rejecting such problems makes them intelligent, so that they deliberately ignore them. On the other hand, supporters of the theory that everything depends on the brain would explain ghosts by brain disorders, illusions or hallucinations. However, there are surprisingly many individuals who have had the opportunity to experience - in a more or less direct way - the existence of an invisible world and its inhabitants. In fact, no one can quite sincerely deny that they exist. There is no point in negating something, just because it cannot be seen or measured. In this book, the writer relate the latest findings of physics about the next world and the beings that live in it. Writer also going to analyse these findings from the scientific point of view and to describe the spiritual world using scientific terms. This book will be interesting both for those who belive in afterlife but need scientific confirmation as well as for the sceptics who may change their minds after having read this publication. This book refer to the first publication of Mr. Tadataka Kimura's book "Truth of soul" published in 2011.

The Book of the Damned has inspired scientists, science fiction writers, moviemakers, and devotees for almost a hundred years. The damned data Charles Fort gathered covered so many marvels, mysteries, and monsters--including unidentified aerial objects, frog falls, ship disappearances, red rains, earthquake lights, lake monsters, animal mutilations, psychic explosions, and much, much more. CHARLES HOY FORT (1874-1932), life-long naturalist and independent journalist, wrote ten novels, though only one, The Outcast Manufacturers (1906), was published in the U.S. - critics said it was ahead of its time, but it was deemed commercially unsuccessful. Upon his death in 1932, more than 60,000 notes were donated to The New York Public Library.
Extraterrestrial life has been a philosophical issue that has not been high on the priority list for scientific study. Since the UFO issue revolves around possible alien visitors, however, it is essential to determine if extraterrestrial life could exist and, if so, whether it could visit our world. In From "Adam to Omega," author A. R. Roberts provides a comprehensive compendium of UFO phenomena, followed by his interpretations of how those phenomena relate to religious and historical texts. Roberts provides a commonsense approach and a logical evaluation of the most credible evidence available-evidence compiled by reliable researchers and investigators. He examines a plethora of questions: Are UFOs real? Were extraterrestrials involved with ancient civilizations? Are aliens abducting people and performing strange tests and examinations? Does the Bible reveal evidence of extraterrestrial visitation? Did the US Air Force really retrieve crashed UFOs and alien bodies? Are the military, the government, and NASA hiding the truth? Is there evidence of an alien agenda? From Adam to Omega presents thought-provoking and interesting information as it examines the evidence to determine what is fact and what is fiction. Roberts offers a unique perspective on the UFO mystery.

Read about a long-lost sole of a tortured soul; and a swastika on a gold chain that was worn as jewelry in a time of hate and prejudice. The eastern side of the Smokies abounds with spooky tales, like the story of a Shadow Woman who appeared to a farmer each morning and evening to beg for a cup of milk. Skinned Tom is another East Tennessee haunt, though his is a sinister tale that warns the unfaithful to steer clear of local lover's lanes for their illicit trysting. From the farmer who finds a Cavern of Skulls to a moonshiner who makes a deal with a water demon; and the Half Shaved ghost seeking vengeance to the first (and only) meeting of the Asheville Ghost Club, the Great Smoky Mountains and its foothills abound with spooky tales. My favorites are in this collection.

The Road to Qua Qua Farm is an inspirational story of a young couple living on a hippie commune in the early 1970's. Together with a small band of Hippies from Cambridge, Massachusetts, they moved to the back woods of Nova Scotia, Canada. The Old Weagle Farm was over one-hundred years old, run down, and in need of major repair. This farm would be the ideal place to begin, because it allowed them to live communally in a healthy environment, free from the norms, and values they had grown accustomed to. They would have an opportunity to create, and shape their very own community, influenced by their own imaginations. No longer dependent on society to achieve these freedoms, they would learn to live off the land, barter for things they could not provide for themselves, and create a new society within itself. They would face challenges they could never have imagined. Daily living was pushed to the limits with the absence of electricity, indoor plumbing, and central heating. Determined to break the mold for the American Dream once, and for all, their journey led them to this place, and they were determined to find out why Their Quest was spiritual in nature, and they would soon discover the dusty road leading to the farm was just the beginning of a journey to awaken their souls, and satisfy the emptiness within their hearts. It would be a quest toward the King and His Kingdom The Road to Qua Qua Farm will compel you to pursue a journey of discovering for yourself. These true life stories will inspire, guide, encourage, and help you achieve the hopes, dreams, and purposes for your life.
Without asking, there can be no answer. "A Woman's Path to Peace" provides a common background within which the reader can explore the familiar yet challenging elements of the journey of awakening. Eclectic yet grounded in the simple ordinariness of an average middle class lifestyle, this book acts as a bridge between where we 'are' in our humanness, and where the Real World is. Topics such as pets, kids, and energy healing are explored within the context of every day life, poignant in its simplicity and raw in its intimacy. Touching essays are scattered throughout the book to provide the reader with real life examples of how Spirit reveals itself in the simplest of moments.
Love Within begins with a story about how humanity was created. Then, prophecy regarding the path of love and path of destruction is discussed. The Storyteller then explains how thoughts create and how to recreate them. Many examples and processes are offered to release emotional debris (stuck emotions). This story will help guide humanity out of the unconscious created world into the future Age of Consciousness and into new heights of love, truth, and freedom from illusion. It offers you an opportunity to become enlightened; it will help you remember who you are by simply realizing there is more to life. There are photographs within this book in which a sphere (image) was taken without the photographers knowledge. Jesus states, It is the Light within all things that has a resemblance of an end and a beginning. Yet, it is over-expansive, all e-embracing, for if the image were to be inhaled it would fit within the eye of a needle. Yet, if it were to be exhaled it would encompass beyond what the mind could conceive, for there is not a beginning and there is no end to the Light. It is who you are.
