this book was intended to provide students with a sound working
knowledge of coordinate geometry. The text contains 'a full
discussion of the subject up to conics referred to their axes,
using both point equations and parametric methods wherever the
latter are suitable'. Exercises and examples are also included.
This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in coordinate
geometry and the history of mathematics.
