Originally published in 1924, as part of the Cambridge Plain Texts
series, this volume contains the full text of El abencerraje by
Spanish writer Antonio de Villegas (c.1522-c.1551). The story is
presented in the original Spanish, with some modernisation of
spelling and grammar. A short editorial introduction in English is
also included. This book will be of value to anyone with an
interest in Villegas and Spanish literature.
