Lank gelede was daar ’n man en sy vrou wat baie graag ’n kind wou hê. Ná 5 jaar het sy nog steeds nie ’n baba gehad nie en sy was siek van hartseer. Om haar te troos het haar man vir haar ’n heerlike slaai gemaak. Daarvoor het hy raponsieblare in hulle buurvrou se tuin gaan pluk. Maar toe vra ’n kwaai stem: "Hoekom steel jy my raponsies?" Hulle buurvou was ’n heks en sy was baie kwaad!
