Answering the beckoning call which rang in her head, Norma Baker
drove to her hometown of Maysville. She knew the others would
arrive soon. It was their fate, though that fate had been dictated
forty years earlier by her very gang of misfits. As youths they had
pledged to return to appease that which had haunted their memories
since the summer of 1965, but too little had changed in Maysville.
It stood in stasis, a monument to its existence, a memory born of
life, and that was not all that found life upon the gang's arrival.
Horrid memories assailed them. Nightmares befell them. How could
they put the past to rest when the past refused to die? There
seemed no placating the victimized soul to whom they had returned.
Hope gave way to despair. Norma had heard that you can never go
home, but she had come home. to Maysville and her haunting
memories. Memories, however, were not all to which Norma returned.
Soon enough death came home. Contains some mature content.
