Perhaps one of the most compelling novel you will ever read.
Edgefield House is a journey; it follows the lives and loves of
James Barringer and Elizabeth Gray. It is an adventure spanning two
centuries. A journey of love, hate and murder, of treachery,
vengeance and privateering on the high seas. A story which brings
two people together then tears them apart, time and again.
Edgefield House will grip you from the beginning, and hold you
tightly right to the end. The locations and the names of the
locations used in the novel, in England, Jersey and France, are
factual and still exist today. They are in most cases, used today
for the same purpose for which they were used in the narrative. The
names of the characters are of course fictional, so is the tale; it
could never have happened. Or could it? That dear reader you must
judge for yourself.
