The Comprehension Express My Reading Test Practice Book shows
children how to apply comprehension strategies to the 5 types of
questions they will meet in the national test papers. It also
includes specific activities linked to support videos on Oxford OWL
to help children fully understand the best way to tackle each
question type and how to go about composing the best answer. The
final pages of the My Reading Test Practice Book contain a mock
test so that teachers can quickly see each child's progress and
check if they are on track to meet age-related expectations in
national test papers. This mock-test includes a self-evaluation
form so the children can also see how they are progressing and
identify areas where they might need more support. The My Reading
Test Practice Book is part of Project X Comprehension Express.
Comprehension Express is a whole-class teaching programme specially
built to help children in Years 4 - 6 (P5 - P7) master
comprehension and excel in the new National Reading Test. It
includes Handbooks, Workbooks, Expert Tip flashcards, a Reading
Test Practice Book and an Expert Tip poster. Online teaching
