The format of each chapter is uniform. The clinical description is accompanied by several typical photographs. The differential diagnostic approach withbriefcriteriais pre sentedin a table. Themajoremphasis is on the treatment; wehave tried to combine our long years of experience in pediatricdermatology withthe in ternationalliteratureand especially more recent evidence-based studies. We have tried to present a rangeof therapeutic possibilities, but also give firm recommendations. There have already been two successful German editions of this book. We hopethat this first English editionalsofinds a receptive readership. We are committed to the concept that childhood skin diseases are best treated whenall involved physicians have onlyone goal - the best possible carefor all children.
