remnants of primeval North America. Hiking Montana's Bob Marshall
Wilderness offers hikers of all ages, interests and abilities the
opportunity to experience the glory and grandeur of the over
1.5-million-acre continuous tract of land that is considered the
crown jewel of the American wilderness system.
Each hike features easy-to-follow trailhead directions;
thorough, mile-by-mile trail descriptions; detailed maps; elevation
profiles; and information on the vistas and wildlife you'll find
along the way. Also included are critical tips on fording streams
and rivers, utilizing zero-impact practices, following faint
trails, and selecting a campsite. Anglers will find the listing of
lakes and streams useful as well.
