America and the Monroe Years is the complete account of America in
the first seven years of the Monroe Administration (1817-1823),
which has interesting details on the events and people of those
years. These include Monroe, J.Q. Adams, John C. Calhoun, Andrew

Doctrine are among the main events described.
Highlighted are the Cass Expedition and Jackson's Amos Kendall.
