This book deals with the structural vibration reduction making use of passive damping control techniques by means of surface treatments with viscoelastic materials. In fact, this kind of vibration control technique is largely utilised nowadays for several industrial applications, such as aeronautical and automotive components. On the other hand, two examples of application are shown.
