commissions of officers in the organization from beginning of
statehood to the commencement of the War of 1812. It has a section
on the organization of commissioned officers and regiments by
counties. This book contains the names of approximately 9,000
individuals who served in the militia in Kentucky and should be a
must for anyone doing Kentucky research during this time span.
