Herald Wilton is considered one of the best lawyers in the state, but has an unorthodox approach regarding the cases he takes and the clients he defends. He refuses to work with individuals who are not truthful and has turned down millions of dollars from wealthy dishonest individuals. As they explore the bible to dissect Satan's involvement within the scriptures, emotions begin to run high and tempers begin to boil. Unable to complete the task, Wilton keeps his promise and meets Satan at the prison. During his conversation with Satan, Wilton finds him to be honest, but uncovers a truth that has his world turned upside down as the conversation stretches the limits of his mind. As word gets out that Satan has been communicating with the law firm Wilton & Associates, the lives of Wilton and his colleagues are forever changed as they become infamously labeled ?The Devil's Defense?.
