MONSTER SERIAL is the product of a month-long blogging effort by the writers of The Collinsport Historical Society. Ordinarily dedicated to the cult-TV drama DARK SHADOWS, the website's writers stepped away from Collinsport for a month to write about their favorite horror films. MONSTER SERIAL contains the bulk of those essays, as well as some new features. The collection of writings touches on everything from the classic Bela Lugosi DRACULA, Vincent Price's works with William Castle and Roger Corman, THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, the movies of Val Lewton, Stephen King and dozens of others.
