"Pressed Steel " is the story of an American company that produced
outstanding armored vehicles for the U.S. Army during World War II
and contributed greatly to the Allied victory. They were praised
for their workmanship and earned the "E for Excellence" award from
the U.S. Government. This book contains many previously unpublished
photographs and is the interesting story of how Pressed Steel Car
Company went from producing railroad cars to producing tanks for
the Allies. The T29 Heavy Tank produced by Pressed Steel Car
Company, 1947.
