Lena James is tired of the timid life she used to live. She decides
to go on a final senior trip with her high school to Guatemala to
make the first step into her new life. On her first day in
Guatemala she meets Adam, a twenty-something Aussie who is a
restaurant owner in Antigua. As Lena starts to fall head-over-heels
for Adam, his secret of being involved with the drug cartel turns
her world upside down. Lena is taken after a drug deal gone bad.
Love, drugs, guns, friends and savages fill the pages as Adam finds
his way to rescue Lena. Will he make it in time?
