Oliver is raised in day care and by after-school sitters because both his parents work long hours to make sure they give him everything he needs. A big house, nice clothes, expensive toys... Everything he doesn't want. What he wants is for his parents to spend time with him, for his mother to stay home, for his father to watch him play ball, for them to be a family... When he is old enough, he rebels in the only way he knows how. At home he becomes resentful and obstinate.
