While looking for a kitten one day, Lindsay and her daughter,
Lydia, became acquainted with Kyle and his daughter, Violet, who
live next to them. Upon learning that Violet was being abused by
her mother and her live-in boyfriend, Kyle obtained full custody of
his daughter. As the relationship develops, the two girls become
inseparable and Kyle and Lindsay fall in love. This is a sad story
with a happy ending, suitable for adults and older teenagers.
