Her mother died when Becky was only three. Her father couldn't get
over losing his wife and took it out on Becky. She was befriended
by a nice family, the abuse was reported to authorities and Becky
was taken into the custody of Family Services. This led to her
being raised then by an uncle, giving Becky a much better life than
she'd ever had before. "What's Wrong With Becky?" is a heartwarming
story with a happy ending. It can easily be read by eight-year-olds
and up, and may be read to younger children as well.
