This title was first published in 2001. When organizational change
occurs, members of the organization can feel insecure in the face
of a seemingly uncertain future. This work investigates the links
between organizational culture and organizational change by looking
at two businesses that have been privatized - British Gas and
British Telecom - and the processes surrounding the ways these
organizations changed in the mid 1990s. It includes interviews with
middle-ranking and senior officals, illustrating that anguish is
experienced not only by those on the lower rungs of the corporate
ladder.
