With the security services under resourced for the demands now being placed upon them, the Government have decided, as a temporary measure, to recruit some suitably experienced former Senior NCOa s to fulfil this role. As they are to have a slightly different role from that of MI5 and Special Branch they are to be referred to as the a Praetoriansa which of course was the name given to the elite guard given to those protecting the Roman Generals in ancient times.
