Once the most important Roman city in continental Croatia, Sisak's
subsequent history was marked by stormy and dramatic events, yet
its Roman remains survived the onslaught of Avars, Franks and
Turks. Part I of this volume summarises earlier published finds
from the site, Part II charts the metalwork finds, here considered
from the standpoint of their production, and Part III constitutes
the first full publication of the Terra Sigillata, currently housed
at the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb.
