Heads or Tales is a collection of my published and unpublished
short stories written over the span of about 25 years. I've tried,
as best I could, to present them here in some "logical" order.
Unfortunately, in attempting to do so, I discovered that
categorizing or otherwise grouping the stories could have just as
sensibly been accomplished by coin toss. I therefore suspect
readers will point out my failure and, to be honest, I'm counting
on that. In fact, please see the Notice to Readers at the end of
this book.
