This is my second Tilly and the Buttons book and I am truly in love with the simple yet beautiful style perfect for a busy mom. All of these projects are quick and the directions and instructions are well written and easy to follow. Tilly also has Sewalongs on her Instagram page and plenty of resources on her blog to help with any problem that you may have. This book is well worth the investment!

There's no consideration for different body types in this book, its drafted for people who are a similar size in the torso and the legs. Hence a lot of the patterns dont have closures - in order to "keep it simple". I've had to adapt the patterns by adding zips so that they fit better on a pear-shaped body. The drafting is very simple square shaped pattern pieces, not impressive at all. If I knew better I wouldn't have bought this book. At the end of the day you can never be guaranteed that Indies have the same drafting expertise as the big Four.
