'Timeless Textiles' follows the Pueblo weaving tradition through a
tumultuous century during which many changes took place in Pueblo
life and after which weaving fell into sharp decline. The 100 years
between 1840 and 1940 represents a classic period in Pueblo textile
production, yet the magnificent textiles produced during this time
are little known outside of the Pueblo world. This catalogue
accompanies an exhibit at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in
Santa Fe running from 17 May 2003 to 15 February 2004.
