William Richie Sorley (1855-1935) was a Scottish idealist
philosopher who specialised in ethics. Originally published in
1919, this book gathers together the substance of three lay sermons
delivered by Sorley in Cambridge during 1918 and 1919. The sermons
all concern themselves with the religious aspects of reconstruction
and renewal. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest
in theology and philosophy.
