So ruthless is Hou that he doesn't hesitate to kill a rival warlord in the sacred grounds of the Shaolin temple and scorns the monks who protest. However, when his second-in-command, Cao Man (Nicholas Tse), displays equal ruthlessness in betraying him, Hou finds himself seeking refuge in the monastery. As the other warlords continue to tear the nation apart, Hou and the monks concoct a plan to bring peace back to the kingdom.

It's 'The Magnificent One', as warrior Ge Li (Andy Lau) holds back the forces of marauding general Xiang Yanzhong (Ahn Sung-ki) in 370 B.C. China. During the civil war period of China's history, from the fifth to the third century B.C., the Zhoa state sets out to conquer the small city state of Liang. As the invaders near the city, the fearful inhabitants beg for help from the local Mozi warrior clan but fear for the worst when only a single, solitary warrior, Ge Li (Lau), comes to their aid. All is not lost, however, as Li proves himself to be a master tactician, convincing the doubting townsfolk that they can repel the invaders. As the battle lines are drawn, Li, with the help of two local fighters, defies the odds and prepares for one last decisive battle.

Fast-paced Hong Kong action adventure. Set in a land ruled by a vengeful queen (Ying Qu), who insists that all men will be slaves to women, the film follows the journey of two young brothers, Charcoal Head (Jaycee Chan) and Blockhead (Bo-Lin Chen), who come into the possession of a mysterious map. Presuming that the map will lead them to treasure, the boys set out on an adventure in the hope of finding wealth and happiness. They are pursued by Spring (Charlene Choi) and Blue Bird (Gillian Chung), two beautiful female warriors with secret intentions, and quickly discover that the map has led them into danger. Will the boys be able to fight their way to the bottom of the riddle - and past rivals as formidable as the Lord of Armour (Jackie Chan) - to fulfil their destiny?
