Project Mastodon: Building a twenty-first century Republican Party explores the two-party political dynamic in the Obama era and beyond. Through the use of mixed-methods research, Christopher J. Schaefer develops a comprehensive program for building a more robust and diverse Republican party.
Volume Two of Project Mastodon: Building a Twenty-First Century Republican Party, explores Wisconsin governor Scott Walker's meteoric rise to power, the controversy surrounding his signing of Wisconsin Act 10, and successful reelection campaign in 2014. The author, a field director during the 2014 reelection campaign, chronicles his success using big data, analytics and new technology to propel Governor Walker to a twenty percentage point victory in the Green Bay, Wisconsin television market. Volume Two continue where its predecessor left off, by arguing that new-style, twenty-first century campaigns, if they are to succeed, must spend millions of dollars on data acquisition, analytics, the hiring of behavioral scientists, and new technology. The series' reference section is contained exclusively in volume two of Schaefer's magnum opus on new-style, twenty-first century campaigns.
Paul s statements in Romans 9 11 are considered the fundamental texts in the New Testament underlying theological discourse about the possibilities of salvation for Jews who did not believe in Jesus as the Messiah. Meanwhile, the importance of the dual contribution contained in Luke-Acts is often underestimated. This monograph highlights the potential significance of the Gospel of Luke. It explores the Biblical traditions about Israel s salvation that were received by Luke and Paul, and uses textual analyses of different portions of Luke-Acts to show that like Paul, Luke also held out eschatological hope for Israel, although this hope was based on a different perspective."
A Risky Solution for America: The Case Against an Article V Convention, argues that nullification, and electing politicians who possess a fidelity to the United States Constitution, not an Article V Convention, are the only effective means for amending the Constitution.
Model-Based Exploratory Testing (MBET) is a combination of Model-Based Testing (MBT) and Exploratory Testing (ET) methods. MBET takes advantages of both testing methods in an attempt to achieve better coverage and defect detection compared with using only one test method. MBET offers the automation advantages of MBT but also incorporates the exploratory factor of ET in an attempt to find defects which MBT might fail to detect. In this work, we describe the combination of MBT and ET into MBET and layout this new testing method. Also, an empirical study is included to show the effectiveness of MBET compared to MBT. This study shows that MBET and MBT are complementary testing methods and could effectively be used in unison.
Partnerships of Hope gives an inspiring account of the social mission of Waldorf Education, describing the opportunities and challenges of building Waldorf school communities. If you have wondered about governance, leadership, and decision-making in Waldorf schools and how they relate to Steiner's social intentions, this book provides a number of insightful answers, placing them into the larger matrix of the political and economic crises facing Western societies. Of particular interest for the future is Schafer's articulation of the deeper values and principles imbedded in Waldorf Education, values which he maintains are the foundation of a new, spiritually based and healing society.
