This volume constitutes the papers of several workshops which were held in conjunction with the 28th International Conference on Database Systems for Advanced Applications, DASFAA 2023, held in Tanjin, China, in April 2023. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 39th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling, ER 2020, which was supposed to be held in Vienna, Austria, in November 2020, but the conference was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
