Pack your overnight bag and come with Iggy Colvin as he heads off to Ottawa Academy with his best human friend, Oliver Brandeis. The main reason for the trip is so Iggy, the now seven-inch preadolescent gnome, can help the nine-year-old Oliver get settled into his new school. However, Iggy is also preparing himself for another potentially dangerous situation during his short stay. Legend states that the elves inhabiting the basement of the Academy turn ill-spirited toward incoming students on the Autumnal Equinox. Iggy plans to explore the many intricate clues surrounding this fifty-year mystery before it's too late for Oliver and his friends. Iggy has a renewed sense of confidence in his ability since the infamous goblin capture over the summer. He just needs to remember to keep his eyes focused on anything that seems slightly out of the ordinary. Common objects and unsuspecting people will all offer clues if he remains open-minded. Autumn Secrets of the Equinox will take you and Iggy on a trip where you will find yourself soaring through the constellations one minute and then swimming through flooded catacombs the next. iggycolvin.com.

Biomarkers of Postpartum Psychiatric Disorders provides an up-to-date reference on the current research relating to biomarkers in psychiatric disorders, including major depressive disorder, OCD and bipolar disorder in the immediate postpartum time-period. It is the only reference on the market that synthesizes and interprets available data and reviews clinical phenotypes. Topics cover hormonal contributions, immunology, epigenetics and neuroimaging. While the risk of psychiatric illness during pregnancy appears to be equivalent to the risk at any other time in a woman's life, the risk in the immediate postpartum time period is dramatically increased, hence the importance of the discussions in this title.

Special emphasis is given to little-known languages, whose analysis may shed new light on long-standing problems in general linguistics.
Life was fairly predictable for Iggy Colvin but he wished this summer vacation could be different. He wanted to test his limits and experience a real adventure firsthand. His wish was about to come true when he agreed to go on a simple hike to a Fairy Circle with his brother, Razoo. Little did he know he was about to embark on a two-month long journey filled with vicious goblins, underground caves and disloyal friends. This five-and-a-half-inch, pre-adolescent gnome was going to find himself in the middle of a double-sided mystery involving a human and a sapphire ring. Gathering clues and solving puzzles would prepare Iggy for a possible enemy encounter but would it be enough to avoid a potentially deadly conclusion? There is one very important lesson Iggy was about to learn this summer. Be very careful what you wish for. It just may be more than you can handle. "Summer of Circles and Sapphires" will have you cheering for good over evil at all costs as you enter a world filled with fantasy, intimidation and deceit. Get ready for a wild ride in the first of four books from the "Iggy Colvin Adventure Series."

An inspiring and compelling collection of questions and answers are posed to Omni, a non-physcial group entity channeled through John Payne. Omni is primarily concerned with communicating the four principals of creation which form the core of his teachings, all centering around the idea that the creative aspect of the universe is a natural part of our being. The Omni material offers candid, uplifting and inspiring answers to questions about abortion, sexuality, suicide, money, health, personal development and decision-making. The all encompassing message that Omni relates is that all is okay with humanity--we are evolving without encountering the prophesied disasters--and will continue to be okay as we gently unfold our potential. John Payne is a gifted and internationally known trance channel and metaphysical teacher who studied Light Body with Sanaya Roman some years ago. He now travels the globe offering workshops and lecturing in Germany, the U.S., South Africa, Scandinavia, Croatia and the Netherlands. Payne is well-known on the internet, having a prominent position on Spiritweb, the web's largest new age site. He has also written articles for several U.S. based metaphysical journals, such as the Sedona Journal of Emergence, Horizons, and the Auroran, and is a regular contributor to Namaste Magazine in South Africa.

Throughout the 1990s many countries around the world experienced the beginnings of what would later become the most significant and protracted decline in crime ever recorded. Although not a universal experience, the so-called international crime-drop was an unpredicted and unprecedented event which now offers fertile ground for reflection on many of criminology's key theories and debates. Through the lens of developmental and life-course criminology, this Element compares the criminal offending trajectories of two Australian birth cohorts born ten years apart in 1984 and 1994. It finds that the crime-drop was unlikely the result of any significant change in the prevalence or persistence of early-onset and chronic offending, but the disproportionate disappearance of their low-rate, adolescent-onset peers. Despite decades of research that has prioritized interventions for at-risk chronic offenders, it seems our greatest global crime prevention achievement to date was in reducing the prevalence of criminal offending in the general population.
