"Food Does Not Make You Fat" approaches weight issues from the point of view that weight is the symptom of something deeper and that, through exploration and acceptance, you can shift your mind set. It goes on to suggest that a shift in attitude and beliefs, rather than a change of diet, is what's needed to open to change and then weight loss may (or may not) follow.
