Bitz offers a history of the Plainville Turkey Farm, which came into existence in 1923, at a time when turkey meat was a delicacy, not affordable for most Americans, and only available for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

This book looks at the methods of transportation used in Central NY from the time before white man had an effect upon the Native Americans, through the periods of exploration, fur trading, settlement and the changes in transportation that occurred during the next 150 years.
