"Spanish Money and Banking" provides new insights into recent
advances in financial and monetary history and theory, and
demonstrates the significance of Spain to modern banking, monetary,
and development theory. Using a comparative approach, it brings
together a substantial amount of research carried out in Spain and
abroad. It also contributes to scholarly debates on aspects of
monetary and banking history, topics such as free vs regulated
banking, metallic vs fiduciary money, specialized vs universal
banking, bank- vs market-led finance, banking repression vs
liberalization, the contribution of banking and money to growth,
and the role of the state in financial and economic development. It
also shows how financial and monetary mismanagement contributed to
the decline of Spain in the early modern era, and how the
development of the banking sector later on contributed to the first
stirrings of development in modern Spain, especially in the 20th
century, throwing light as well on the causes of the recent
European crisis and the part Spain played in it.
This book incorporates advances in financial and monetary history
and theory and shows the relevance of Spain's story to modern
banking, monetary and development theory. It studies the early
development of banking and monetary institutions and shows how
financial and monetary mismanagement contributed to the decline of
Spain in the early modern era

With the rise of information and communication technologies in
today's world, many regions have begun to adapt into more
resource-efficient communities. Integrating technology into a
region's use of resources, also known as smart territories, is
becoming a trending topic of research. Understanding the
relationship between these innovative techniques and how they
impact social innovation is vital when analyzing the sustainable
growth of highly populated regions. The Handbook of Research on
Smart Territories and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems for Social
Innovation and Sustainable Growth is a pivotal reference source
that provides vital research on the global practices and
initiatives of smart territories as well as their impact on
sustainable development in different communities. While
highlighting topics such as waste management, social innovation,
and digital optimization, this publication is ideally designed for
civil engineers, urban planners, policymakers, economists,
administrators, social scientists, business executives,
researchers, educators, and students seeking current research on
the development of smart territories and entrepreneurship in
various environments.
This work describes a novel approach to the problem of workforce
distribution in dynamic multi-agent systems based on blackboard
architectures, focusing especially on a real-world scenario: the
multi-skill call centre. Traditionally, to address such
highly-dynamic environments, diverse greedy heuristics have been
applied to provide solutions in real-time. Basically, these
heuristics perform a continuous re-planning on the system, taking
into account its current state at all times. As decisions are
greedily taken, the distribution of the workforce may be poor in
the medium and/or long term. The usage of parallel memetic
algorithms, which are more sophisticated than standard ad-hoc
heuristics, can lead us towards much more accurate solutions. In
order to effectively apply parallel memetic algorithms to such a
dynamic environment, we introduce the concept of adaptive time
window. Thus, the size of the time window depends upon the level of
dynamism of the system at a given time. This research proposes a
set of tools to automatically determine the dynamism of the system,
as well as a novel and precise prediction module based on a neural
network and a powerful optimization method.
Eres feliz?
eliminados; si te motivas a detectarlos y a removerlos, observar?'s

Soft tissue refers to tissues that connect, support, or surround
other structures and organs of the body, not being bone. Soft
tissue includes tendons, ligaments, fascia, skin, fibrous tissues,
fat, and synovial membranes (which are connective tissue), and
muscles, nerves and blood vessels (which are not connective
tissue). In this book, the authors present current research in the
study of the composition, mechanisms of injury and repair of soft
tissue. Topics discussed include the soft tissue biomechanics of
diabetic foot ulcers; cellular and physiological soft tissue
response in hip arthroplasty; peri-implant soft tissues in
orthodontic anchorage; connecting tissue injuries and mechanical
properties; MRI findings of myopathies in soft tissue; and soft
tissue behaviour after mandibular symphysis bone graft harvesting.

tradicionales quimica oceanografica y quimica marina.
general. Todavia existen inconvenientes taxonomicos y ecologicos no
