In David Cronenberg’s subtly provocative film, one of his most celebrated, all is not as it initially seems. In his first of many collaborations with the director, Viggo Mortensen delivers a highly nuanced performance as Tom Stall, a small-town husband and father who is hailed as a hero when he kills the would-be perpetrators of a violent robbery. But how did this ordinary family man dispatch them with such skill? Working with an exceptional cast that also includes Maria Bello, Ed Harris, and William Hurt, Cronenberg slyly deconstructs the mythos of the American action hero, posing elemental questions about identity, human nature, and the violence that we both abhor and can’t look away from.
"It's the Journey that Counts" begins the story of a young Air Corps Lieutenant and his wartime bride. The two are separated during World War II when he sets sail on the USS Joseph T. Dickman as part of a large military convoy. Bound for a destination unknown, he and four special friends will participate in the best-kept secret in modern warfare, the African Invasion. Of the five men, only the writer's husband will return.Later, widowed at fifty and left with two minor children and no permanent home, the writer experiences feelings of inadequacy and trepidation. A good life will follow, but satisfactory answers never seem clear to the nagging and persistent "whys" of life.At age seventy she returns to her Alma Mater, a highly structured woman's college in the Deep South, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary for her class of 1942. When the weekend brings unusual encounters with aging friends, a unique perspective of life's history begins to unfold. Only then does she accept the fact that the "whys" of life may never be satisfactorily answered: yet life, like her mother's quilt tops, may likely reveal the greatest warmth and coziness with the final quilting.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, and based on an unrealised project developed by the late Stanley Kubrick, 'A.I.' tells the story of David (Haley Joel Osment), the first lab-built artificial child capable of feeling real emotions. David is adopted by Monica and Henry Swinton (Frances O'Connor and Sam Robards), a couple whose own biological child has been placed in cryogenic suspension awaiting a cure for a currently fatal medical condition. The Swintons seems to adapt well to the new child in their lives, but when their own son is cured and sent home, it jeopardises David's position in the family and he soon finds himself all alone on a dangerous adventure in the outside world.
Set directly after the events in Captain America: Civil War, Natasha Romanoff - aka Black Widow - confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Andrew Niccol directs this science fiction romance adapted from the novel by Stephenie Meyer, creator of 'The Twilight Saga'. An alien race has begun colonising Earth by taking over human bodies and erasing their minds and memories and only a small band of survivors remain who are working to protect themselves from extinction. One of them is Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan), who, when out on a search for food, meets another human being named Jared Howe (Max Irons) and it isn't long before they begin to develop feelings for one another. However, when Melanie is taken by the alien species and is made host to one of their own, it seems all hope is lost. That is, until Melanie's mind begins to fight back against her new inhabitor and her human emotions and memories ignite some empathy in the alien parasite.

Drama starring Gael Garcia Bernal and William Hurt. Elvis (Bernal) is a handsome and charismatic 21-year-old just out of the US Navy. He returns to his father's sleepy Texan hometown dreaming of some kind of reconciliation, having been abandoned by the man as a child. But Pastor David (William Hurt) has a new family - wife Twyla (Laura Harring) and teenage children Malerie (Pell James) and Paul (Paul Dano) - and is in no mood to confront his past mistakes, so he callously rejects Elvis again. This flippant act of cruelty unleashes a tragedy of truly biblical proportions, as Elvis begins to make his way into the family, seducing Malerie.
