Knowledge Driven Development: Private Extension and Global Lessons uses actual cases written specifically to study the role and capacity of private companies in knowledge sharing and intensification through agricultural extension. Descriptions of specific models and approaches are teased out of complex situations exhibiting a range of agricultural, regulatory, socio-economic variables. Illustrative cases focus on a particular agricultural value chain and elaborate the special feature of the associated private extension system. China has a large number of abundance workers, especially low skilled workers. More and more Chinese are seeking for job opportunities oversea. However, Japan lacks a sufficient number of domestic low skilled workers. Japan has the demand of foreign low skilled workers. Therefore, Japan built a foreign trainee and technical intern system and a lot of Chinese workers go to Japan via this system. Most of the previous researches focus on the labour rights problems of these foreign workers in this system in Japan. This book pays more attention on the role of Chinese labour agencies. Because the Chaos governance of labour agency in China, the labour agencies infringe Chinese workers' labour rights. I hope the migration worker's rights can be improved from this research on labour agencies.

The Internet has developed into a new distribution channel and online transactions are rapidly increasing. This has created a need to understand how the consumer perceives online purchases. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting student consumer's buying decision when purchasing clothing online, and find out which factors impact on the online buying decision most. The research hypotheses are tested by using data collected from 200 students of Glyndwr University in UK. The identified factors economic orientation, convenience orientation, trust orientation and social influence have been examined. Among all of them, the first three were positively correlated with online attitude, whereas the result shown that social influence weakly associated with online attitude. The findings of this research can be drawn as implications for online clothing retailers so as to improve their understanding of the segment consumer group and increase their online marketing strategy effectiveness.

Computational simulations frequently generate solutions defined over very large tetrahedral volume meshes containing millions of elements. Furthermore, solutions over these meshes may often be expressed using non-linear basis functions. Certain solution techniques may even produce non-conforming meshes. Such data is difficult to visualize interactively, as it is far too large to fit in memory and many common data reduction techniques cannot be applied to non-conforming meshes. Common linear interpolation method cannot faithfully and accurately evaluate the non-linear solutions. In this book, three different methods are proposed to provide accurate, interactive and efficient visualization. The surface method introduces pixel-exact evaluation of higher-order solution data on the GPU, which demonstrates the importance of per-pixel rendering versus linear interpolation for producing high quality visualizations. The interactive volume method adaptively samples points from non-linear solution, decimates points at run time to fit GPU memory limits, and renders them order-independently. The feature method improves efficiency by sampling over feature partitions via TetGrid.
