Matt Damon returns to star as the deadly CIA assassin in this espionage thriller directed by Paul Greengrass. Action sequel focusing on the underground world of British hooliganism. The film follows undercover, Muslim cop Mo (Simon Rivers) as he infiltrates the hooligans of Shadwell Town Football Club. Action feature starring Linden Ashby and Rutger Hauer. At the Atlanta Olympics, the women's US swimming team are taken hostage by a group of terrorists led by Omodo (Andrew Divoff), who will not release them until their demands are met. When the gang shoot one of the swimmers on live television, the FBI arrange for an anti-terrorist expert (Hauer) to guide former martial arts champion-turned-janitor Jack Bryant (Ashby) in a counter-attack on the insurgents.

David Hasselhoff stars as Marvel Comics hero Nick Fury in this made-for-TV movie. Former spy Nick Fury is called back into action by S.H.I.E.L.D. when the grown-up children of his old nemesis, Baron Wolfgang von Strucker (Campbell Lane), take over the terrorist organisation HYDRA and threaten to destroy all of Manhattan using a deadly virus. Can Nick use his expertise to save the citizens from a grim fate?

Tsuda is a young insurance salesman whose life, and the life of his fiancée Hizuru, is turned upside down when he meets an old schoolfriend, Takuji. Soon after Takuji's visit to Tsuda's apartment, Hizuru has her nipples pierced and starts making moves on Takuji while Tsuda begins a fitness and boxing campaign. The bizarre love triangle is linked to a half-forgotten incident from Tsuda and Takujis' youth.

A double bill of action blockbusters. In 'The Expendables' (2010), an ensemble cast of action stalwarts including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews and Mickey Rourke join forces to bring down a South American dictator. The film also boasts cameo appearances from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis, and sees Stallone and Schwarzenegger sharing a screen for the first time ever. In the sequel 'The Expendables 2' (2012), Willis, Stallone and Statham reprise their roles, as Mr Church (Willis) reunites the formidable Expendables team, plus new member Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth), for what should be a straightforward job. But when one of their number is murdered by adversary Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme), the team's quest for revenge finds them pitted against an unexpected rival.

The 13th Bond adventure, again starring Roger Moore, places 007 up against the glamorous Octopussy (Maud Adams) and a bunch of evil Soviets who have plans to plunder Tsarist treasures and create a nuclear explosion in a German NATO base. Bond's bag of tricks this time includes a hot air balloon, a folding mini-jet and a superpowered rickshaw. The title song is performed by Rita Coolidge.

The second and final of Timothy Dalton's outings as James Bond sees 007 leave Her Majesty's Secret Sevice and branch out on his own. The trouble begins when drug baron Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) makes an unexpected appearance at the wedding of Felix Leiter (David Hedison), Bond's good friend, leaving the groom maimed and the bride dead. Bond has no choice but to seek his revenge and, with a little help from the obligatory 'Bond girl' (Carey Lowell) and the ever-present Q (Desmond Llewellyn), sets out after the villainous Sanchez. Causing a storm on its release because of its violence and dark plot, the film was originally given an 18 certificate before studio cuts.

Timothy Dalton plays James Bond for the first time, leaving behind the high camp of the Roger Moore years for a relatively straight reading of the famous secret agent. The action this time sees Bond running around various exotic spots (Gibraltar, Afghanistan) in pursuit of a couple of seedy dealers in arms, drugs and diamonds. There is as much action and gadgetry as ever, but a slightly less tongue-in-cheek script keeps 007's romantic liaisons down to a minimum. Caroline Bliss makes her debut as Miss Moneypenny.

Off the coast of Mexico, Dr Susan McAlester's (Saffron Burrows) team of scientists are working on a cure for Alzheimer's disease by injecting degenerate human brain cells into mako sharks. The three sharks selected grow to over forty feet in length, and begin to demonstrate signs of intelligent behaviour. When pharmaceuticals' president Russell Franklin (Samuel L. Jackson) arrives with funding in mind, one of the sharks attacks scientist Jim Whitlock, biting off his arm. However, the helicopter taking Whitlock to surgery crashes into the research centre and disables the protective security systems which keeps the killer sharks at bay...

Director Christopher Nolan's sequel to his own 'Batman Begins' sees Gotham's avenging angel squaring-up to a new kid on the block - psychotic prankster, the Joker (Heath Ledger, in the role that won him a posthumous Oscar for Best Supporting Actor).
