In the Law of Psychic Phenomena by author Thomas Jay Hudson, Hudson has attempted to create a classification of verified psychic phenomena, accounts of which is found in the literature current on the subject; and has tentatively formulated a working hypothesis for the systematic study of all classes of psychic phenomena. Hudson has collected a vast array of facts, thus accumulated and verified, and awaiting scientific classification and analysis, which would seem to justify at least a tentative effort to apply to them the processes of induction, to the end that the fundamental law of psychic phenomena may be discovered. This is an important work for those who are interested in the writings of Thomas Jay Hudson and also those with an interest in understanding psychic phenomena.

This collection of essays and lectures by renowned theosophist and occultist C.W. Leadbeater provides an educated insider's view not only of clairvoyance and the power of the mind, but also of black magic and white magic, and the perseverance of the spirit after death. Both intellectual and spiritual, Leadbeater's writings attempt to not simply explain these difficult and controversial subjects, but provide context and guidance. Always stressing the importance of education and training in these areas, he raises them above the conventional wisdom that they are fanciful arts. Secrets Revealed is a must-read for anyone interested in a serious consideration of New Age spiritual practices. English clergyman turned spiritualist CHARLES WEBSTER LEADBEATER (1854-1934) was ordained as an Anglican priest, but later joined the prominent Theosophical Society and traveled to India to study alternative spiritual and occult practices, eventually settling into his life as a clairvoyant and author. His other works include Man Visible and Invisible and The Science of the Sacrament.
Putting his many years of research into a single volume, Hereward Carrington presents readers with a self-help guide for increasing their psychic abilities. Everyone who has experienced psychic phenomena, he says, wants to know how they can develop such powers on their own. And in this book, first published in 1920, he gives them their answers. As the path of development differs for each kind of medium, he has provided instruction on a variety of abilities, including automatic writing and clairvoyance. Serious students of the paranormal as well as those interested purely for entertainment value will find this book a helpful reference. British investigator of psychic phenomenon HEREWARD CARRINGTON (1880-1958) was a member of the Society for Psychical Research and wrote many books on the paranormal. Despite many of his most convincing cases being shown to be frauds, he continued to study claims of psychic power and established a research society in the United States in 1921. Some of his most famous works include Eusapia Paladino and Her Phenomena (1909) and Psychical Phenomena and the War (1918).
Revised Second Printing MENTAL RADIO By UPTON SINCLAIR Introduction by WILLIAM McDOUGALL Preface by ALBERT EINSTEIN With a Report by WALTER FRANKLIN PRINCE CHARLES C THOMAS PUBLISHER Springfield Illinois U. S. A. tt - MARY CRAIG SINCLAIR 1883-1961 INTRODUCTION J J r. Upton Sinclair needs no introduction to the public as a fearless, honest, and critical student o public affairs. But in the present book he has with characteristic courage entered a new field, one in which reputations are more easily lost than made, the field of Psychic Research. When he does me the honor to ask me to write a few words of introduction to this book, a refusal would imply on my part a lack either of courage or of due sense of scientific respon sibility. I have long been keenly interested in this field and it is not necessary to hold that the researches of the past fifty years have brought any solidly established conclusions in order to feel sure that further research is very much worth while. Even if the results of such research should in the end prove wholly negative that would be a result of no small importance for from many points of view it is urgently to be wished that we may know where we stand in this question of the reality of alleged supernormal phenomena. In dis cussing this question recently with a small group of scientific men, one of them who is perhaps the most prominent and influential of American psychologists seemed to feel that the whole problem was settled in the negative when he asserted that at the present time no American psychologist of standing took any interest in this field. I do not know whether he meant to deny my Americanism or my standing, neither of which I can establish. Buthis remark if it were true, would not in any degree support his conclusion it would rather be a grave reproach to American psychologists. Happily it is possible to name several younger American psychologists who are keenly interested in the problem of telepathy. And it is with experiments in telepathy that Mr. Sinclairs book is chiefly concerned. In this part, as in other parts, of the field of Psychic Research, progress must largely depend upon such work by intelligent educated laymen or amateurs as is here re ported. For facility in obtaining seemingly supernormal phenom ena seems to be of rare and sporadic occurrence and it is the duty of men of science to give whatever encouragement and sympathetic . wisfts cut cio. PUBLIC mm 6300824 Vl MENTAL RADIO support may be possible to all amateurs who find themselves in a position to observe and carefully and honestly to study such phenomena. Mrs. Sinclair would seem to be one of the rare persons who have telepathic power in a marked degree and perhaps other super normal powers. The experiments in telepathy, as reported in the pages of this book, were so remarkably successful as to rank among the very best hitherto reported. The degree of success and the conditions of experiment were such that we can reject them as conclusive evidence of some mode of communication not at present explicable in accepted scientific terms only by assuming that Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair either are grossly stupid, incompetent and care less persons or have deliberately entered upon a conspiracy to deceive the public in a most heartless and reprehensible fashion. I have unfortunately no intimate personal knowledge of Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair but I am acquainted with someof Mr. Sinclairs earlier publications and that acquaintance suffices to convince me, as it should convince any impartial reader, that he is an able and sincere man with a strong sense of right and wrong and of indi vidual responsibility. His record and his writings should secure a wide and respectful hearing for what he has to tell us in the follow ing pages. Mrs...

This book is specifically meant for those who are serious about walking a spiritual path and exploring a deeper part of themselves. It shares information on exactly why a higher world exists and what needs to be done to reach it. The tone of the book is very personal - to the point where you will feel like Steiner himself is sitting there with you, guiding you privately in the quest. Much is covered on dreams, meditation, focusing the mind and living a true spiritual life. The exercises can offer the reader a higher spiritual awareness and an increase in personal power, but only if they are performed consistently. Steiner was a Theosophist and much can be found from both Theosophical and Rosicrucian schools of thought, which means the knowledge shared is the best available from these accepted and proven sources. Beginners or the merely curious may not get as much from this work as those who have had some prior knowledge in these areas. A deeper part of the universe does exist and gaining access to it involves us unlocking a deeper part of ourselves. It is no simple task, but this book can serve as a key to those inner locks by applying oneself to its teachings.
