There are many factors to consider when upgrading from 3.5" hard-drive (HDD) to 2.5" solid-state drive (SSD). One of those is that direct mounting of SSDs in most desktop computer cases is not possible due to lack of dedicated 2.5" drive bays. Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket is a perfect solution to this problem. It is an adapter specially designed to securely mount up to two 2.5" SSDs into existing standard 3.5" hard-drive bay. It fits any desktop computer case with at least one standard 3.5” hard-drive bay available. The installation is straight-forward, which makes for the hassle-free transition to SSD.

Hidden behind the smooth closed front panel and invisible when powered off, sits our Bitfenix ICON 2.8" Logo Display. It connects directly to your motherboard via an internal USB header and lets you drag and drop any color image onto the display to customize your build. We published the entire sourcecode, opening the door for developers and tinkerers to create animated and interactive ICON apps.

AEGIS CORE
For purists who prefer a completely untouched black front panel we offer a CORE version of AEGIS without an ICON Display. The CORE version comes with all the same accessory as the full ICON display version, such as the modular drive cages, fan controller, pump bracket and reservoir bracket, and as an added bonus, with one of our infamous Aluminum Bitfenix Logo badges with 3M double sided tape, in case you prefer a traditional and more classy logo on your case.

Reservoir Bracket
Keep your loop running without a refill for months on end, and give your build that extra bling. To enable fully fledged custom loop builds with a nice tube res we bundle a 240mm reservoir bracket that can be attached to either the case, or directly to a 240mm or 360mm radiator. Alternatively, the reservoir bracket can be used to install pump/res combos, such as the EKWB Xres, simplfying your loop notably.

Pump Bracket
With support for up to two 360mm radiators and 5 slots for dual VGA configs we know you dont want to skimp on the pump. Thats why AEGIS comes with its very own pump bracket, covered with a thick rubber pad, and featuring plenty of mounting holes. There are several locations on the bottom of the case that make it that much easier to get your custom loop up and running.

Fan Controller
Movie time? Need an airflow boost to overclock your system or an intense gaming session? Instantly adjust the fanspeed and resulting noise of your system and toggle between 3 different modes, High Performance (12v), Normal (7V) and Silent (5V).

PSU Cover
Hide your PSU and the modular cable plugs and wires coming out of it for an extremely clean and neat build. In case you own a particularly flashy or good looking PSU and want to show off its nicely sleeved cables, the PSU cover is completely removable.

Preinstalled Mainboard Standoffs
AEGIS comes with all necessary mainboard standoffs, factory installed, making a new build much less of a hassle and saving you valuable time. And if you plan to use an mITX mainboard, dont worry, none of the additional preinstalled standoffs will stand in your way. In case you want to remove them anyways for that extra clean look, we bundle a screwdriver adapter to remove them one by one.

AEGIS comes with support for up to 170mm tall Tower coolers and an extra large CPU socket cutout that provides plenty of space to install support brackets behind the CPU socket to securely install even the largest and heaviest CPU coolers on the market.

Extreme Graphics Card support
The longest VGAs on the market barely make it to 300mm, and even the tallest VGAs rarely surpass 130mm. AEGIS supports no less than 380mm long and 150mm tall VGAs, leaving plenty of space for front mounted fans, radiators and of course for air to move and stream through the system and cool all components.

The bottom HDD cage can even be moved around and installed in different locations to accommodate long highend PSUs or make way for radiators in the front.

Hidden SSD

The PC-V700 offers impressive expandability in a small size, allowing two additional 3.5-inch HDDs to be screwed into the floor of the case without interfering with other components in your system. Lian Li has decided to position the power supply in the front of the case under the drive bays, along with the necessary ventilation slits to keep your power supply running cool.
