"Guyana (Cult Of The Damned)" is a song about the 1978 mass suicide led by Jim Jones of the Peoples Temple cult, at Jonestown, northwestern Guyana. "Thor (The Powerhead)" is about the Norse God Thor (as the name suggests), destroying the evil of the world and the Giants (enemies of the Gods) as well. The song often brings about the Ragnark, with "Live to fight on that final day" stated many times.
This new edition of a revered guide to the technical aspects of painting marks the 40th anniversary of its original publication. Fully revised by author Jack Faragasso, the highly sought-after but long-unavailable book features improved imagery, materials, and edits, including a new chapter on working in natural sunlight. The revisions are guided by extensive notes by Faragasso, an expert in the Frank J. Reilly method of understanding how color works in various realistic lighting conditions and how to make paint replicate those visual impressions. A former Director of the Reilly School of Art and an instructor at the Art Students League, Faragasso offers a full treatment of the Reilly techniques in clear, coherent terms. His exposition of the principles of painting and color applies to all subject matter — including portraits, figures, and still life — and under any lighting conditions. Anyone wishing to paint effectively in a traditional manner will benefit from this volume, including serious beginners, intermediate to advanced students, and teachers of art and painting.

Much-lauded comedy, described by its makers as 'a romantic comedy - with zombies'. Written by Simon Pegg, creator of the hit TV series 'Spaced', the film fuses the style (and copious bloodshed) of classic zombie films with observational suburban comedy. Shaun (Pegg) is a useless but likeable thirty-something who works in an electronics shop in Crouch End. He doesn't get much respect from his fellow staff, even though he's standing in as temporary boss; his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield) has had enough of his lack of direction and penchant for downing pints in the local pub; and he doesn't get on with his stepdad (Bill Nighy). Things get worse when the living dead make their appearance, threatening to spread their zombie curse across the nation. Will Shaun be able to rise from his sofa to save the lives of the two women he loves - Liz and his dear old mum?

Life is not whatever will be, will be. It’s what you say it is! Words are the most powerful force in the universe, and you can release this ultimate creative power in your life by your words. In this classic book first published in 1976, bestselling author and renowned faith teacher Charles Capps lays a biblical foundation for the power of words—both God’s and yours. The heavens and the earth were created as God released His power by the spoken word. In the beginning, God said, “Light be!” and light was. God planned for you to do the same. God’s Word spoken from your mouth and conceived in your heart becomes a spiritual force that releases His ability in your world. In The Tongue: A Creative Force, Charles Capps lays out straight-forward, Scripture-based teaching to help you:
As you speak faith-filled words into your situations, your words will position you to receive God’s best in every area of your life!

In "The Secret Life of Water, "bestselling author Masaru Emoto guides us along water's remarkable journey through our planet and continues his work to reveal water's secret life to humankind. He shows how we can apply its wisdom to our own lives, and how, by learning to respect and appreciate water, we can better confront the challenges that face the twenty-first century--and rejuvenate the planet. |
