It has been developed to introduce a variety of text formats. The level of difficulty in the Big Books increase – the first books have more repetitive texts and it becomes more difficult while stimulating the learner’s increasing visual literacy and language level. The books are suited to the Grade 2 learners’ level of development, frame of reference and humour. This book is suited to the topic in the Home Language (and Life Skills) Learner’s Book and Teacher’s Guide. This book can be used in more than one reading lesson (as described in the Teacher’s Guide). The animals in the aquarium see a child with round legs visiting the aquarium.
