a bug, a shoe...well you know the rest, fiction for young children
Hi and a very warm welcome to "Horses" - (The Essential Guide To
Horses For Kids & Adults). I'm one of those people who loves to
hear about extraordinary facts or trivia about anything. They seem
to be one of the few things my memory can actually recall. I'm not
sure if it's to do with the shock or the "WoW" factor but for some
reason my brain seems to store it for a later date. I've always
been a great believer in that whatever the subject, if a good
teacher can inspire you and hold your attention, then you'll learn
Now I'm not a teacher but the system I've used in previous
publications on Amazon seems to work well, particularly with
children. This edition includes a selection of those "WoW" facts
combined with some pretty awesome pictures, if I say so myself At
the end there is a short "True or False" quiz to check memory
recall and to help cement some of the information included in the
book. Don't worry though, it's a bit of fun but at the same time,
it helps to check understanding. If you are an expert on horses
then it's unlikely you will find anything new here but if, like me,
you enjoy learning unusual facts with interesting pictures then I
hope you'll find it worthwhile. Let me know what you think using
the review page section. Feedback is crucial to any author but
please remember that I do have feelings. Enjoy the show Matt.

Just how extensive is your or your children's knowledge of farm
animals? Are you able to name which animal gives so many of us wool
for our clothing? Or what a boy chicken is called? Or which animal
has its own set of shoes? Farms are a major part of many countries
and they have provided many different types of food and resources.
Naturally, one of the most important parts of any farm is the
variety of animals that inhabit it. With fewer family farms,
children may be fascinated by but not know much about farm animals.
Children who aren't familiar with animals on a farm are sure to
love learning about them, and how they provide for us. From
chickens, cows, and horses, to rabbits and more, you'll find a wide
variety of questions on all sorts of farm animals presented in a
fun and interactive way. The book is designed not only as a game,
but as a picture book for younger children. The pictures allow for
a greater level of interactivity and education as the kids play and
can relate questions back to the pictures.
