Belfast-born Jonny Evans is a tall and agile centre-back. An intelligent defender, he combines an uncompromising physical approach with the ability to pass the ball out from the back.

Jonny has risen through the United ranks to become an integral part of the first-team squad and 2011/12 was the season in which he truly came to the fore. The Northern Ireland international who received his first call-up before he had even made his United debut has blossomed into one of the best young defenders around. Handed a Champions League squad number at the start of the 2005/06 season, aged just 17, Evans was a burgeoning talent waiting to burst to prominence.

Given his opportunity by the sale of Gerard Pique in the summer of 2008, Jonny did that during the course of the 2008/09 campaign. Whenever called upon, Jonny's ice-cool calm is immediately apparent, even on huge stages like the San Siro or Stamford Bridge. His capacity for handling pressure is incredible, and stems partially from the extensive experience he gained out on loan.

Roy Keane, Jonny's boyhood hero, enlisted his former team-mate when he took the managerial reins at Sunderland, and Evans played a lead role in helping the Black Cats reach the Premier League. Midway through the 2007/08 campaign, by which time Jonny had made his United debut against Coventry, Keane came calling again and took Evans back to the Stadium of Light for another six months.

After returning from Wearside, he featured in every one of United's 2008/09 pre-season games and quickly became the Reds' contingency plan for whenever the rock-solid partnership of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic was broken up, filling the breach in every competition including the Reds' Club World Cup final and League Cup final victories, while 16 Premier League starts ensured a hat-trick of medals for the defender.

In the 2010/11 season Evans found himself competing with summer signing Chris Smalling for his place, and in March he picked up a straight red card for a tackle on Bolton's Stuart Holden. But the campaign finished on a high note as 13 league appearances were enough to earn Evans another winners' medal. The 2011/12 season was arguably Evans' best in a red shirt. Deputising for the injured Vidic, he made 28 league starts and found some fantastic form through playing regularly. He also broke his goal-duck in United's 5-0 demolition of Wolves in March.

With superhuman strength, the ability to fly and projection and energy absorption, she began her heroic career named Captain Marvel. In Avengers: Endgame, after rescuing Tony Stark from space, Carol teams up with Earth heroes to fight Thanos.

In comics, with a different origin, she was created by Roy Thomas and Gene Colan in 1968, as Carol Danvers, and Miss Marvel in 1977, becoming a member of the Avengers and also acting alongside groups like X-Men, Starjammers, Thunderbolts and S.H.I.E.L.D.

Rio de Janeiro-born Rio de Janeiro-born Rafael is very much a modern full-back: he loves to bomb down the right flank - but he's not all just Brazilian flair, he's also made of tough stuff.

Rafael is a full Brazil international and settled quicker than his twin Fabio after making his debut against Peterborough in Barry Fry's testimonial back in August, 2008. It was soon evident United had a ready-made first-teamer on their hands, even though he was only 18 at the time. Finally, it was the end of one long journey from his former Brazilian club Fluminense, and the start of a new one with United.

What made Rafael's debut all the more startling was that he hadn't played for over a year. The Reds had been waiting for international clearance on the pair's transfer from Brazil, so they had been unable to turn out for United during that time and, in fact, didn't play any regular competitive football. Both brothers were spotted by Les Kershaw, then Academy Manager, in the summer of 2005 while playing for Fluminense in a Hong Kong youth tournament.

Rafael seems dauntless, and his ten-minute cameo on his competitive debut against Newcastle appeared to back up that claim, as did his first goal in a red shirt - a stunning last-minute volley in the defeat at Arsenal in November 2008. He quickly began stringing together top-level performances, displacing fit-again club captain Gary Neville and England international Wes Brown at various stages of the campaign. Rafael copes with high-pressure matches with a calm which belies his tender years.

Sir Alex Ferguson handed Rafael a two-year contract extension before the defender had even completed his first season in England. The Brazilian ended 2008/09 with a nomination for the PFA Young Player of the Year award, and a place on the bench in the Champions League final, just a year after watching from the stands in Moscow.

Anthony Stokes is an Irish professional footballer who plays as astriker for Scottish Premier League club Celtic and the Republic ofIreland national football team.

Stokes began his senior career with Arsenal, but established himselfwith a successful loan spell with Falkirk in 2006, scoring 14 goals in16 SPL games. After scoring a 90th minute penalty in 1-1 draw at New Douglas Parkwith Hamilton on 12 January 2011, Stokes entered a rich vein of form,scoring another penalty and an over-the-shoulder volley in a 3-0 win atEaster Road against Hibernian three days later. He rounded thegoalkeeper and scored the winner in a 1-0 home win against Aberdeen thefollowing week. He scored from a free-kick and a tap-in from a goodrefereeing advantage in a 4-0 home thrashing of Hearts on 26 Januaryand kept his cool from the spot and scored another penalty in a 4-1 winat Hampden Park in the semi-final of the League Cup against Aberdeen.
