This deck, created by celebrated Italian illustrator Gaudenzi and
scholar of erotic culture Spadanuda, bravely plumbs the earthy
world of Boccaccio's Decameron. Like other erotic decks, Gaudenzi
and Spadanuda amplify the sexual imagination. Unlike other erotic
decks, in the Decameron Tarot all sorts of people enjoy the carnal
adventure. Ideals of age and beauty vary, and this deck celebrates
that variety with great wit and a playful style.

These cards were painted by Lady Frieda Harris according to instructions from the occult scholar, Aleister Crowley. The magnificent art deco work contains kabalistic and astrological attributions described in Aleister Crowley’s Book of Thoth. The stunning art deco artwork of the Thoth is rich in Egyptian symbolism. To each of the twenty-two Major Trumps of the tarot is assigned, by tradition, a Hebrew letter and a path on the Tree of Life, as well as an astrological sign, element, or planet. The deck also reflects Crowley’s interest in alchemy and magic. Crowley Thoth Tarot has attracted a worldwide following, both for its striking beauty and for its complex depiction of occult knowledge. Since its initial publication in 1969, the deck has never been out of print. Included with the deck is a booklet of instruction, which contains two essays by Lady Frieda Harris and a commentary by Stuart R. Kaplan. Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot has been named one of the Top Ten Tarot Decks of All Time by Aeclectic Tarot.
In this pioneering scholarly work on occult symbols in literature, the reader is offered a vivid look into how W.B. Yeats, T.S. Eliot, and Franz Kafka_three masters of symbolic expression_utilized Tarot cards in their poetry and prose. Focusing on the Tarot's ancient associations with divine knowledge, its pictorial representation of both the Jewish and Christian Cabala, and the Tarot's more recent pedestrian affiliation with the occult, June Leavitt skillfully demonstrates how Yeats, Eliot, and Kafka align themselves in their uniquely individual ways with the Tarot symbols' mapping of reality. Paying close attention to the mystical nuances of the Tarot, Ms. Leavitt shows how Tarot symbols allow for radically new readings of the texts in which they are situated, and play a transformative role in the three writers' search for God. This search remained indecisive for Kafka, resulted in Eliot's conversion to Anglo-Catholicism, and went hand in hand with Yeats' passion for pagan gods and angels. This beautiful 78-card Tarot deck, adapted from the illustrations of Arthur Rackham, interprets Richard Wagner's four-part opera, The Ring of the Nibelung, which traces the mythic tale of a golden ring of unlimited power plagued by a deadly curse, loose in the world of the Old Norse and Germanic gods. An End Time prophecy infuses the epic story with thought-provoking, contemporary resonance. The four elemental Tarot suits in this powerful divination tool are realized from four Ring Cycle races: Gods (Fire/Wands), demi-god Walsungs (Water/Cups), human Gibichungs (Air/Swords), and dwarf Nibelungs (Earth/Disks/Pentacles). The accompanying book explores divinatory meanings, lensed partly through the feminine and esoteric, and also delves into The Ring of the Nibelung's characters, plot, themes, and unique music, which would inspire J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth novels decades later. The Green World Oracle focuses on trees and plants as primal symbols of life. Each has an oracular voice, as do the nature spirits, devas, and deities associated with them. Trees speak to us of living in balance with all of life. People often refer to their "roots," the "fruits" of their labor, trees of wisdom, and trees of good and evil. Abused women in Greek mythology are rescued by being turned into trees; children are born from them; gods like Osiris are entombed in them; sacred fire is struck from them; the voice of Moses' deity came from one. We plant a tree to celebrate a wedding, a birth, or to mourn a death. Humankind has always sensed the presence of spirits, or "otherness," around trees. This oracle gives voice to their rich, caring insights. A beautifully designed deck of thirty-three cards offers access to these mysterious realms.Includes cards and book.
