I Ching: the Book of Changes, one of the oldest book of humanity, reminds us that nothing is fixed, but life is always changing, flowing naturally from the Yang (the male principle of creation) to the Yin (the female principle of receptiveness) and to the Yang again, never stopping, but rather creating harmony in the motion.
The I Ching is an old and venerable wisdom and each of the 64 cards expresses an archetypical truth. Following the Book of Changes, every card can turn into another, with Yin solidifying into Yang and Yang melting into Yin. The cards offer a powerful visualisation of the I Ching concept, a useful and practical way to consult the ancient book.

Nefertari, the bride of Ramses II, assisted her husband in the temporal ruling of Egypt. During her incredible life, she witnessed the great expansion of her country and enjoyed the worship of her devoted husband. Upon her death, Ramses built Nefertari a stunning sepulcher that remains almost intact to the present day. This deck recreates the atmosphere and symbology so loved by Nefertari-who is considered the Light of Egypt and a symbol of the most beautiful aspects of this elegant and sophisticated civilization. The typical two-dimensional Egyptian artwork is given incredible life and luminosity by the rich, patterned gold foil background. Drawing upon the fascination and mystery of Egyptian culture, Alasia has created a beautiful deck that is also practical for divinatory purposes.

Crystals, like tarot cards, have for centuries been used for healing and divination. In this boxed set, each card image shows a crystal, along with a traditional tarot image, which enhances its meaning. The High Priestess card, for instance, shows the lapis lazuli crystal, which links with her tarot meaning of spiritual truth and intuition - she guides us to listen to the voice of our true selves. Accompanied by a book by author and crystal healer Philip Permutt showing how to lay out the cards for a reading, tarot aficionados will fall in love with the beguiling images, while novice readers will find it an irresistible first deck. The specially commissioned illustrations are by Emma Garner, artist of the bestselling Art of Tarot. They beautifully blend traditional tarot imagery with crystals: The Sun card has a sun of topaz, and the World card shows the traditional world dancer holding wands of quartz.
Based on the best-selling Universal Waite Tarot, this deck has both the divinatory and reversed interpretations printed right on each card, so it's perfect for beginners. There's no need to lose time and disturb your concentration by referring to a booklet.
When the Tarot pack was invented in Italy in the early 15th century, it was simply a pack of cards, used for playing games. Esoteric interpretations of the pack date from late eighteenth-century France, and were confined to that country for a hundred years. Nowadays, however, the cards are used throughout the Western world and not only for fortune telling; for real believers they are a key to secret knowledge of the meaning of life.

According to legend, the Kamasutra was created by the Indian god Shiva who, overwhelmed by the joys of sexual experience, wrote a servant a treatise on erotic art. Inspired by the original Kamasutra, this deck is meant to aid seekers in their own quest for enlightenment through the senses.
Publisher Review: I feel I have to start this review by stating that this deck is filled with very explicit illustrations of couples involved in sexual relations. If that alone is a "deal breaker," you have no reason to continue with this review. Next, I'd like to look at the source text for this deck, the Kama Sutra. Many people talk of this book as having great spiritual value. They approach it as a key Tantric (a small part of Tantra involves spiritualized sexuality) text. Neither concept it true. It is far closer to what might be called a rule book for marriage. It is composed of seven sections, of which sections 3-6 are about how to get a wife, how a chief wife should act, how other wives should act and advice on how to become a courtesan. Section seven is about how to attract a partner and includes the closest thing to instructions on sexual magick found in the entire book. Section one, the introduction, introduces various Vedic spiritual concepts and may simply be slapped onto the book in order to give it some legitimacy. Indeed, at least one historian claims the entire book was a collection of other texts. The remaining section is the part of the book that is most famous. It includes numerous legalistic and dogmatic concepts on how to have sexual relations, some of which require a great deal of physical strength and agility. It also describes 64 types of sexual acts. I vividly remember getting a copy of this book when I was about 14 years old on a vacation in Palm Springs. I eagerly tried reading it and no matter how much I skipped, I couldn't help but find it stultifying, dated, and silly. That brings us to an overview of the art in this deck. As described in the deck attributes below, the Art School Vijai & Ram of Rajastan have done an absolutely magnificent job of producing sexually explicit modern art in the style and character of of 17th and 18th century Indian art (heavily influenced by Mughal-style art) often found in published editions of the Kama Sutra. You'll instantly recognize the style. . . read more.
These cards are alive with movement. The delicate curves, the
sweeping lines, and the bright yet gentle colors all serve to draw
the mind around and into the pictures.
