Chiseled Orchids is a book about the heroes of the sexual and
cultural undergrounds in San Francisco during the 1990's. AIDS is
in full swing and the streets of San Francisco are empty of gay men
above a certain age, an entire generation wiped out by a virus that
spread through intimacy. It was a terrifying time. In response
young gay men threw ourselves at life intensely despite everything
that was arrayed against us. Here are snapshots of the formation of
a defiant queer culture manifested through moments of glamour,
savagery, sexual grace, and humor, with the specter of AIDS the
subtext of every intimate encounter. These are moments captured in
amber from the fringes of queer life during that pivotal period. It
is brutally honest, raw, and explicit. Consider yourselves warned.
The story of a post-apocalyptic future London where the wealthy are
top of the chain and the poor are barely able to survive. Somewhere
in between are the executioners, coliseum gladiators who enact the
punishments laid out for the justice system. Ethan Bale Jr. is one
of the wealthy, a cruel man who purchases the powerful, wildly
stubborn, and deliciously tempting Drake, one of those famed
executioners, and enslaves him mind, body, and eventually soul; all
the while dealing with the threats of the dangerous and mysterious
Reagan.

Queer Privacy is a collection of essays about community, family,
coming out, dating, domestic violence, activism, sex work and
suicide. We will talk about problems, we won't always have
solutions, and not all the stories have happy endings. After all,
this is real life and we are building it together - one step at a
time.
