The Most Compelling Scientific Evidence for Life Beyond Death
Ever Compiled
Evidence of the Afterlife shares the firsthand accounts of
people who have died and lived to tell about it. Through their work
at the Near Death Experience Research Foundation, radiation
oncologist Jeffrey Long and his wife, Jody, have gathered thousands
of accounts of near-death experiences (NDEs) from all over the
world. In addition to sharing the personal narrative of their
experiences, visitors to the website are asked to fill out a one
hundred-item questionnaire designed to isolate specific elements of
the experience and to flag counterfeit accounts.
The website has become the largest NDE research database in the
world, containing over 1,600 NDE accounts. The people whose stories
are captured in the database span all age groups, races, and
religious affiliations and come from all over the world, yet the
similarities in their stories are as awe-inspiring as they are
revealing. Using this treasure trove of data, Dr. Long explains how
medical evidence fails to explain these reports and why there is
only one plausible explanation--that people have survived death and
traveled to another dimension.
As seen on ITV's This Morning 'You really can learn to talk to your
pet' - Daily Mail We all want what's best for our pets, but what if
we simply don't understand what that is? With this easy

guesswork and open yourself to a deeper, richer relationship with
your pet. In this book, you will: * Learn exactly what animal
communication is, how it differs from being a pet psychic and the
different types of ways you can psychically communicate with your
pet, including Beth's unique PACT method * Receive important
messages from your pet, learn to communicate with other people's
pets, as well as read messages via photographs * Understand how to
solve behavioural issues in your pet and help them with their
wellbeing * Be able to learn how to use animal communication to
help cope with the loss of a beloved pet as well as learn how to
use your new skills to locate a missing animal. Your pet is part of
your family, they know what you are feeling, and now you can really
understand what they are feeling too.
What are we to make of direct spiritual experience? Of accounts of
going to heaven or meeting angels? Traditional science would call
these hallucinations or delusions. Clinical psychologist Dr. Mark
Yama argues the opposite. Through interviews with his patients, he
shows that underneath the visions and experiences there is a
unifying spiritual reality apart from the material world. One of
the stories recounted in this book is the experience of a woman who
could see the future. In a spiritual transport, she was taken to
heaven where truths were revealed to her that she later discovered
were already written in Gnostic scripture. Another woman lived a
life marked by a spiritual sensitivity that defied materialist
explanation. After she passed away of cancer, she came to inhabit
the consciousness of another of Dr. Yama's patients in the form of
a benign possession. These stories, and many others, argue for a
deeper reality that places spirituality on an equal footing with
the material world.
This book provides the most up-to-date information on the use of
vibrational tools such as crystals, aromas, sounds, bodywork, and
homeopathy to help the body remember its own healthy harmonic
resonance. Explore how to use vibrations to release old
dysfunctional patterns in the body-mind and replace them with new
patterns that resonate with the body's own healthy frequencies.
Gordon Smith is the medium's medium who outstanding gifts are
recognised by prominent sceptics and which have been tested in
laboratory conditions at Glasgow University, with astonishing
results. But usually when we try to assess the claims of psychics
and mediums or evidence of supernatural phenomena we are examining
events taking place outside the controlled conditions of the
scientific laboratory. In this new book Gordon Smith argues that
most suitable standards we can apply when trying to decide whether
or not it is reasonable to believe such claims are the same
standards we usually use to assess disputes in human affairs - the
standards of the law court. As a leading medium Gordon Smith is
part of an 'apostolic succession' of mediums that goes back through
famous mediums like Albert Best, Helen Duncan and DD Hume to the
start of Spiritualism modern times in American in the mid
nineteenth century. In this book he examines the historical
evidence, admitting fraud where he finds it, but showing that great
weight of testimony proves the reality of these supernatural and
spiritual phenomena 'beyond reasonable doubt'. As leading barrister
Maria Ahern writes in her foreword: 'I have assessed the evidence
in this book. Just as I would in a trial. There is credible
evidence from various unconnected sources all giving evidence that
points the same way. The evidence has been collated by a credible
source; Gordon Smith is widely acknowledged as a gifted medium and
has provided many with evidence of one of life's great unanswered
questions'. She advises the reader: 'Look at the evidence, assess
it fairly, allow for any sensible and appropriate doubt and reach
your verdict'.
