Awakening through the Veils takes the reader, step by step, through
the mysterious process of awakening. For most seekers, it will be a
direct and practical guide towards an actual awakening. For those
already awake, it will help to deepen them from where they are now.
"During the last ten years, I have had the privilege of following
Ric's awakening path, and it has produced a huge transformation in
me. I have worked on my inner constraints, freeing the issues that
caused me great fear and suffering. Through Ric's guidance, I have
been able to walk step by step on a road that leads to awakening to
our true nature, creating a life with more freedom and openness. It
has been a journey from the shadows to the light. I am completely
sure that as you read this book and put your consciousness into it,
you will have the same wonderful experience." -Santiago Ardissone,
President of the Columbia Foundation on Consciousness and Energy
"Of all the teachers, guides, and masters who I have met in my
forty years of seeking spiritual fulfillment, Ric Weinman has the
ability to map not only consciousness but that most elusive of
qualities: awakening. VortexHealing(r) provides a path that anyone
can tread to that end. What more can you ask? I thoroughly
recommend the VortexHealing(r) path, Ric, and this great book he
has written." -Richard Farmer, Founder, Tai Chi Movement for
Wellbeing; Dir. Rising Dragon Tai Chi Living Ltd.; Hon. Pres. Tai

Sons of Thunder is the first of two books based on one summer's
2000 mile trek across southern Europe. It celebrates the adventure
of walking medieval pilgrim trails from Andalusian Seville to the
Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in the northwestern Spanish
province of Galicia, and brings the reader along the journey in a
first-hand way by weaving emails, journal extracts and walking
poems.
The broad agricultural expanses of the Spanish countryside form
the backdrop for reflections on what it's like to pare life down to
food, water, will and ambulation while exploring the little
villages dotting rural Spain. And from such sparsity, to walk into
monumental cities... M rida, C ceres, Salamanca; cities thriving
modernly around Roman ruins, Moorish palaces, Gothic and
Renaissance cathedrals; cities of-fering music, regional cuisine,
stunning architecture and art in the heady awe of human history...
Then, to walk out again through tranquil forests and plains.
But more than a travelogue, these physical experiences are part
of a spiritual journey, a journey which on one level culminates en
masse with hundreds of other pilgrims celebrating in an incensor
swung and organ boomed baroque Cathedral, the shrine of St. James,
and that on another deeply individual level ends with an
intro-spective three-day walk to face the finality of the sea, the
true end of the road, and cast an intention-rich scallop shell into
the cliff-crashing tide as a symbol of all that continues beyond
physical boundaries.
The ideas presented within these pages can help the reader
focus on improving self and community through imagination and
thinking. There is hope for change when the inspiration comes from
within. When it comes to freedom of thought, it is easier to change
one mind at a time than entire cultures. As long as there are
individuals who express optimism for such change, there is hope for
all of us. The topics cover common themes that people and society
come across while passing through the fire of daily life. These
themes are about all of us. They are about time, space, matter,
spirit, humanism, and universalism. They attempt to explain by
seeding the complex with the simple. There are no endings, only
beginnings in awareness when its purpose is to unify consciousness
on Earth with universal life. When this occurs rightly, our
perceptions will move us into that next stage of being: universal
inclusiveness and its eternal expansion.
Far More than We Think is an exploration of how spirituality, in
its broadest sense, can be the logical solution to the many
challenges of everyday modern living. These are wise words, spoken
with humility, and the conclusions are surprisingly simple yet
deeply profound. This debut work is a fusion of contemporary and
ancient wisdom, scientific fact, and personal experience. The
author builds a logical case for spirituality that leads to a
conclusion that we really are far more than we think. If you have
ever thought that there must be more to life than your current
experience so far, then this book could mark an important turning
point. If it does so for you, even to a small extent, then the
purpose in sharing these thoughts will have been fulfilled.
For some writers, scribbling is minimal-on the periphery of their
work. In Holy Scribbling, the scribbles take center stage and
become the means to the message. With sometimes quirky insight,
Katherine Moore takes us to sacred windows that allow the
spirituality of ordinary scenes to emerge. From the stark beauty of
a "Mystic Dawn" to the serenity of "Simple Solitude," we experience
the mysteries of nature, along with the routine demands of
relationships and circumstances. Holy Scribbling is a personal
book, but the images in these works expand into a universal
understanding of everyman. In poetic form, a sense of reality is
captured with a minimum of words. Paradoxically, it is her
appreciation of words that enhances a deep spiritual sense of
solitude and silence. As a contemplative commentary on glimpses of
life, Holy Scribbling offers you the chance to see not only
yourself, but also, possibly, God. "Take the journey with Katherine
Moore through this meditative volume of verse, and you will
experience more deeply that you are alive " -Jonathan Kelley,
D.Min., LPC, director of the Presbyterian Counseling Center,
Brunswick County, North Carolina "Katherine Moore's collection of
poems is visceral and haunting, yet joyful. She reaches into her
soul and shows us the frustrations and agonies of daily life, yet
through it all she keeps a sense of wonder and delight. ... Her
poems will make you both laugh and cry." -Elsa Bonstein, columnist
and poet
Geared toward those who need help or healing, The Song of Life
provides twenty-seven lessons to propel you on the path to
understanding what is really in your heart and mind. Author George
E. Samuels, a spiritual master and coach, can help you become aware
of your place in the world.
The Song of Life links you with the universe, as well as the
universal consciousness with our own individual consciousness.
Offering tips and insights, it helps you to see your connection to
more than what you currently see-to open and expand your vision so
that you recognize the universe as more than a science project, but
instead as an introduction to your universal partnership.
The lessons focus on topics such as letting go, tasting the
bitter, affirming the positive, understanding your mental and
physical universe, and realizing the importance of meditation in
this mix. The Song of Life seeks to help you heal, to show you your
place in the universe, and to create a better universe for all.
Regardless of your circumstances, God has big plans for you today.
He put dreams in your soul that, although buried, breathe; and He
put ideas in your heart that, although they seem unattainable, are
possible, with His guidance. He hasn't abandoned you or any of your
dreams. He doesn't deny you or your complete manifestation of His
glory. Your dreams, if they come from God, are real, possible. He
thought of them and He entrusted them to you, which is why David
said The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me... We must not ignore
God's dreams, because they are His will, meaning they can and must
be achieved. Excuses, on the other hand, don't exist, rather they
are illusions. We can construct them with many justifications so
they seem real, but sooner or later they will bring
sadness...Excuses mustn't replace your dreams; your mission must
not be cut short. In this book you will discover how great your
Value is to God according to His Word, and later you will develop
Courage to dare to do His will, guided by Him. I can't think of a
greater responsibility than to carry out God's dreams, so go ahead
and begin a new life with Value and Courage.
